Jennifer Foster, Chief Operating Officer

In her position as Chief Operating Officer, Ms. Foster works closely with Cira leadership and management teams across the country. Guided by Cira’s commitment to a quality client and examinee experience, Ms. Foster delivers on that promise by supporting the ongoing development of people, processes, and technology in all aspects of Cira operations.

A seasoned operational leader who is both Six-Sigma Black Belt and LEAN certified, Ms. Foster gained extensive expertise from her work in a variety of roles. She previously held leadership positions as Executive Director, Client Experience and Outcomes for Toronto Central Community Care Access Centre, and Executive Director, Patient Safety, Quality, Risk & Medical Ethics for Kingston General Hospital. Her work in the medical services industry began with Johnson & Johnson Medical Products, where she held the position of Vice President, Operations and Chief Information Officer.

In addition to Ms. Foster’s experience in the medical field, she has also worked with S.i Systems Ltd. as Vice President of Operations and Royal LePage Real Estate Services Ltd. as Vice President, Strategic Business Services.

Ms. Foster is passionate about client experience and employee engagement and has been co-investigator on several research papers related to client and employee experience. She provides leadership training and executive coaching as a member of the Adjunct Faculty of the Corporate Learning and Performance Improvement Program at St. Lawrence College. Ms. Foster holds her Masters of Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario, her Bachelor of Communications from the University of Calgary, and is a certified Project Management Professional.
